Day 1 - Arrival and local Sightseeing
Arrive at Leh airport or at Leh bus stand by yourself and check into the Hotel that we have booked for you. You are advised to take complete rest for the day to adapt yourself with the new environment at 11,135 feet altitude. Later, in the evening you can visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace, known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’ or Shanti Stupa, located on a hilltop near Changspa, reaching the top you will see the beauty of whole Leh town.
Overnight stay at Leh.


Day 2 - Leh to Lamayuru via Sham Valley
After breakfast, depart for Lamayuru via three iconic stops: the Hall of Fame Museum, the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and Sangam, the breathtaking confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers.
Nicknamed "Moonland" for its surreal, crater-like landscape, Lamayuru is one of Ladakh's most striking destinations. At its heart stands the Lamayuru Monastery, the oldest gompa in the region and a revered centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture, adorned with centuries-old murals and artefacts.
End the day with an overnight stay in Lamayuru.

Day 3 - Lamayuru to Leh.
Begin the morning with a visit to the Lamayuru Monastery, perched atop a distinctive hill and actively maintained by the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Retrace the Srinagar-Leh Highway towards Leh, with three unmissable stops en route:
Alchi Monastery – Renowned for rare paintings and thangkas dating back to the Kushan period, tucked away in a charming village across the Indus River.
Likir Monastery – A serene hilltop gompa with striking views of the surrounding valley.
Basgo Castle – Once the proud capital of lower Ladakh, now a fascinating ruined fort steeped in history.
Arrive back in Leh by evening.


Day 04: Leh to Nubra Valley – via Khardung La
Cross the legendary Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft), once celebrated as the world's highest motorable road, for breathtaking panoramic views before descending into the stunning Nubra Valley. The landscape dramatically shifts into a vast high-altitude desert, unlike anything seen on previous days.
Stop at Diskit Monastery to witness the towering 106-ft Maitreya Buddha, serenely overlooking the valley floor. End the day at the iconic Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can ride the rare, double-humped Bactrian camels, a living legacy of the ancient Silk Road, as the sun dips behind the Karakoram Range.

Day 05: Turtuk & Thang – India's Northernmost Edge
Drive to Turtuk, a fascinating village that was part of Pakistan until 1971, now offering a rare window into Balti culture. The distinctive stone architecture, unique dialect, and warm hospitality of the locals make it unlike anywhere else in Ladakh.Continue to Thang, the last village on the Line of Control (LoC), where Pakistani army posts are visible across the valley, a surreal and humbling experience. Stroll through fragrant apricot orchards and soak in the extraordinary setting at the very edge of India.

Day 06: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso
Take the thrilling Shyok River road, the adventurous direct route to Pangong Tso that bypasses the long detour through Leh. The dramatic, rugged drive is rewarding in itself.
Your first glimpse of the 134 km-long Pangong Lake is nothing short of breathtaking. Shared between India and China, the lake mesmerises with its ever-shifting colours, sweeping from vivid turquoise to deep indigo throughout the day.
Settle into a lakeside camp as night falls, and witness a dazzling canopy of stars reflected in the crystalline waters.

Day 07: Pangong to Tsomoriri – Through the Rupsho
Wake to a stunning sunrise over Pangong, then set out across the remote high-altitude wetlands of the Rupsho Plateau. The route winds through Loma Bend and Sumdo, transitioning from rugged off-road trails to vast, arid expanses dotted with nomadic settlements.
The wilderness dramatically gives way to the sapphire brilliance of Tsomoriri Lake, a pristine wilderness teeming with rare wildlife and vibrant birdlife. End the day at Korzok village, home to one of the highest permanent monasteries in the world, perched serenely above the lakeshore.

Day 8: Tsomoriri to Leh via Tsokar Lake & Taglang La
Experience the raw beauty of the Rupshu plateau on this high-altitude expedition. We traverse the rugged Polokongka La pass, navigating a mix of adventurous off-road trails and salt-encrusted plains. Witness the geothermal wonders of Puga Valley hot springs and the rare wildlife near the shimmering shores of Tsokar Lake.
Keep a lookout for the resilient Changpa nomads herding pashmina goats across these arid highlands. Finally, we conquer Taglang La—one of the world’s highest motorable passes—before descending through the dramatic Gya gorges to the Indus Valley, concluding your epic Ladakh circuit back in Leh.


Day 9: Departure from Leh – Carrying the Mountain Spirit
Conclude your 9-day Ladakh expedition with a final Himalayan breakfast before your private transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL). As your flight ascends, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Trans-Himalayan peaks and rugged valleys you’ve just conquered.
